Research Endeavours:
Driven by the passion, research training and experience with global trials, the Trustees, Dr. Manoj and Dr. Purvi Chawla, were inspired to conduct more investigator-initiated studies and plan clinical trials and surveys for groups of like-minded clinicians like the DRS and other groups. They are also associated with global clinical trials being conducted from the research centre at Brahmakumari Global Hospital, Andheri West, Mumbai.
Community Commitment
There is a strong and steadfast commitment by MDCF to continue efforts to improving patient outcomes and promoting diabetes awareness. Activities like patient care camps, screening camps, awareness lectures on various topics related to diabetes, also rural camps are undertaken from time to time to help elevate healthcare standards in society across the strata.
Education And Training
It has been a very strong belief with the Trustees of MDCF that education and awareness are crucial in the fight against diabetes. Workshops and webinars for physicians to stay updated on diabetes management have been undertaken as MDCF initiatives since its inception. Lectures, hands-on sessions and webinars are thus regularly conducted inviting experts across India and globally to participate and share their expertise and experience. The largest initiative has been the annual Diabetes Research And Solutions conference since 2022. These efforts will expose physicians to cutting edge updates in diabetes management and education and empower them to further consolidate clinical practice.
